RTPI and the Highlights Foundation teamed up this spring for the fifth year in a row to present Writing from Nature: Blazing a Trail from Field Journal to Publication at the Highlights' Boyds Mills, Pennsylvania retreat center.

Writers and illustrators from all over the country participated in natural history field trips, writing workshops, and critiques of their work from professional writers and editors during the 4-day event.
