Blackburnian & Hooded Warblers

The focus of the Festival will be Eastern North American Warblers on the Allegheny Plateau.  28 warblers are known to breed in the area, so our goal is to visit every habitat that is likely to hold singing males on territory.  This event will provide an entertaining and educational experience.  Activities include:

• Screening of remastered Roger Tory Peterson film "Wild Eden", 8 pm, Scharmann Theatre, Jamestown Community College
• Keynote speakers to be announced
• Workshops wto be announced
• Field trips to area birding hotspots led by one or more expert birders who are associated with one or more of the following organizations:  RTPI Ornithological Club, Buffalo Ornithological Society, New York State Ornithological Association.
